Wheelchair & ECV Rentals
Wheelchairs
Wheelchair rentals at Walt Disney World are available on a first-come,
first-serve basis. Rented wheelchairs cannot be transferred from Park to
Park. However, guests visiting more than one Park on the same day can
save their wheelchair deposit ticket from the first location they visit.
This will allow them access to another wheelchair on the same day, if
available, at another Park without an additional fee.
Electric Convenience Vehicles (ECV)
Electric Convenience Vehicles can also be rented on a first-come,
first-serve basis. Guests should arrive early, as a limited number are
available and no reservations are accepted. Renters must be at least 18
years of age to rent an Electric Convenience Vehicle.
Accessibility
Accessibility varies from attraction to attraction within each Park. The
Guidebook for Guests with Disabilities and Park maps use symbols
to indicate boarding procedures for each attraction. Some attractions
require guests to transfer from their ECV or wheelchair to ride a
system, either by themselves or with the assistance of a member of their
party. Attraction hosts and hostesses are not permitted to physically
assist guests in transferring from their wheelchairs. Consult the Park
map or the Guidebook for Guests with Disabilities for specific
attraction requirements.
