New
Spaceship Earth Post-Show
Carnegie
Mellon's Entertainment Technology Center has teamed up with Walt Disney
Parks and electronics company Siemens this semester to create a collection
of arcade games called Project Spaceship Earth for Disney's Epcot Center.
The Entertainment Technology Center's website stated, "The games offer a fun
and exciting look at how Siemens technologies make our lives better." In
particular, this attraction will take the form of several exhibits that
relate to health care, transportation, and energy. It will occupy 9000
square feet.

Walt
Disney World Inline Marathon Weekend
As part of the
5th annual Walt Disney World Inline Marathon, skaters from all over the
country will have the opportunity to experience Disney World on wheels. The
Full Marathon and Half Marathon will take place on Sunday, April 1, 2007.
The course features a journey through Disney-MGM Studios and Epcot. Disney’s
Inline Marathon includes an entire weekend of race activities, including
both the Inline Marathon Expo from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Milk House at
Disney’s Wide World of Sports Complex and the All-Star Kids Classic races on
Saturday, March 31. Registration is currently open. Race day registration is
not available.

Meet
the Robinsons at Disney-MGM Studios

from the new Walt Disney Pictures film "Meet the Robinsons," pose in the
Animation Courtyard at the Disney-MGM Studios. The trio will be on-hand at
the Studios to meet and greet guests starting March 23, 2007, one week prior
to the film's nationwide release. "Meet the Robinsons" opens in select
theaters nationwide March 30, 2007.

Pirate
& Princess Party Returns in August
Due to the
popularity of the Pirate & Princess Party held this Winter, the event is
returning late Summer. Guests will embark on a quest for beads and chocolate
treasures, be witness to a Pirate and Princess parade, character greetings,
fireworks spectacular and some of the most popular attractions. Experience
Pirate Coves and Princess Courts filled with treasures and special themed
entertainment. The party will be held on August 11, 15, 18, 21, 24, 28, 31

2007 Star Wars Weekend Guest
List Released
Disney has
released the celebrity line up for the 2007 Star Wars Weekends. Celebrity
guests appearing during the event are Warwick Davis, Kenny Baker, Jeremy
Bulloch, Peter Mayhew and more. Star Wars Weekends blast into orbit June1
and will be held four consecutive weekends (Friday, Saturday and Sunday)
through June 24, 2007. The festivities are included in regular theme park
admission.

2007 Disney's Night of Joy
Details Announced
Marking the
25th anniversary of Disney's Night of Joy, on September 7 & 8, a total of
18+ acts will present concerts on stages throughout the Magic Kingdom.
Christian music lovers from all over the globe will be gathering for a
celebration with top-name music artists, theme park attractions and Disney
characters. The long-running series has played to a combined audience of
over three-quarters of a million people. Top Artists include; Third Day,
Chris Tomlin, newsboys, Steven Curtis Chapman

New Preview Dates Announced
for Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor Comedy Club
After a delay
and rescheduling, Disney has announced Annual Passholder preview dates for
Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor Comedy Club, at Magic Kingdom's Tomorrowland. The
previews will take place during regular park hours March 30 through April 1.
Passholders, and up to three guests, are invited to join "Monster of
Ceremonies" Mike Wazowski and his wacky friends at the hysterically funny
new attraction inspired by Disney•Pixar's "Monsters, Inc." Annual
Passholders must present their valid Pass, a photo ID and accompany their
guests. Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor Comedy Club officially opens on April 2,
2007.

Sham Rock 'n' Roll at
Pleasure Island celebrates St. Patrick's Day March 15-17
from 7 p.m.-2 a.m. The Island will "turn green" with live music, videos by
Irish artists, leprechauns, stilt walkers and more. Meanwhile, for everyone
interested in celebrating St. Patrick's Day "the Irish way," the Irish
owners of Raglan Road Irish Restaurant & Pub at Downtown Disney have lined
up a non-stop program of Irish music, song and dance across Friday, Saturday
and Sunday, March 16-18, to match anything found in their native Dublin,
Ireland.

Walt Disney World Resort
President Announces Expansion Plan
Walt Disney
World Resort President Meg Crofton has announced two new projects as part of
an expansion plan for the resort in Central Florida. A new 900-acre luxury
resort anchored by the prestigious Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, and a
450-acre retail, dining and lodging district on the western edge of the
resort. "Families around the globe know they can trust Disney to deliver
magical experiences and Four Seasons to offer exceptional service and
amenities. Combined, this is a huge win for devotees of both brands and for
Central Florida," Meg Crofton said. The project is currently in the design
stage. Site work and branding is anticipated to begin later this year. The
project will be built in phases over the next eight to 10 years.
